Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maraschino cherry juice
  • 1 cup flour baked and cooled
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries

Equipment

  • 1 mixer

Method

  1. Cream butter, white sugar and brown sugar with mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add maraschino cherry juice and vanilla and mix until combined.
  3. Add flour and mix on low speed until it's combined.
  4. Stir in the chopped maraschino cherries and mini chocolate chips.
  5. Using a 1 tbsp scoop, scoop the cookie dough frosting on to each brownie.

Notes

Bake the flour at 350° for 3-5 minutes or microwave for 30 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds. This will kill any bacteria that might be in the flour. Be sure to let it cool completely before adding it to the butter mixture or it will melt the butter.
