Peppermint Christmas Chex Mix

The holidays are a time for fun, family, and of course, food! What better way to celebrate the season than with a batch of festive Christmas Peppermint Chex mix? This colorful mix of Red, green and white Chex cereal is the perfect sweet and salty treat for your holiday party. Addictive and delicious, your guests will be begging you for the recipe!

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 1 12 oz. box Chex cereal
  • 1/2 16 oz. bag Synder's Sourdough Nibblers
  • 3 c. Golden Graham cereal
  • 1 12 oz bag white baking chips
  • 1 10 oz bag M&M Christmas Milk Chocolate Candy
  • 1 9 oz bag peppermint starlight mints
  • red candy sprinkles

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine Chex cereal, pretzel sourdough nibblers, Golden graham cereal.
  2. Place white baking chips in a microwave safe bowl and cook on high power for 30 seconds, remove and stir with a wooden spoon. Return to microwave for 30 seconds more, stir and repeat until chips are melted.
    Pour over cereal mixture and stir to coat.
  3. Pour and spread cereal mixture onto a large baking sheet. Sprinkle with M&M candy, crushed peppermints and red candy sprinkles.
    Let cool.
  4. Place cooled mixture into cellophane treat bags. Tie with a festive ribbon and add the FREE printable gift tag.
