Blue Thanksgiving Table Decor Ideas
Who says Thanksgiving has to be all orange and brown?
This year, I wanted to bring a fresh twist to the season with blue Thanksgiving table decor that feels calm, cozy, and timeless.
Blue pairs beautifully with natural textures—think wood tones, soft greens, and creamy white pumpkins—to create a look that’s both elegant and relaxed.
The best part?
You can easily pull this off using items you already have around your home.
Try layering blue throws, tablerunner, napkins or glassware with neutral plates, or mix in a few thrifted blue dishes for a collected, charming look.
A touch of blue instantly elevates your Thanksgiving table while keeping it perfectly festive for fall.

Coastal and Rustic Fall Table Decor
This coastal and rustic fall table decor blends relaxed seaside charm with the cozy warmth of Thanksgiving—creating a look that feels effortless yet refined.
To start, we layered a blue and white table runner I found at the Vintage Market in the spring.

It’s such a classic piece that’s found a home in many of my rooms, and it set the perfect tone for this look.
For the centerpiece, we placed a thrifted galvanized tray in the center of the table and added a thrifted glass bowl filled with sand and a large white candle.
Around the bowl, we tucked in dried cauliflower root (it looks just like driftwood!) and mini white pumpkins from our local farmers market.
To add a touch of whimsy, we carved small holes into a few pumpkins and placed white taper candles in each, lining them along the runner for a soft, coastal glow.
The look came together beautifully with wood-look chargers from Dollar Tree—an affordable way to bring in rustic texture and warmth.
Then for each place setting I’m using my everyday blue and white dinner plates topped with a navy napkin in a wooden fish shaped napkin ring.

If you want to personalize your table even more, try adding seashells, sand dollars, or starfish among your pumpkins for that perfect fall-meets-coastal vibe.
And here’s my favorite part—almost everything was thrifted or found locally, proving that you can create a gorgeous Thanksgiving table without spending a fortune.
Whether your home is by the beach or far from the shore, this look brings an easy, breezy elegance to your fall celebration.

Simple Elegant BlueThanksgiving Tablescape
If you love a refined, timeless look but want to keep things affordable, this simple elegant Thanksgiving tablescape is the perfect blend of high-end style and budget-friendly finds.
We started with a blue and white table runner as our base, then layered on a wood tray and charger to add height to the centerpiece—a DIY chinoiserie pumpkin topped with a vintage brass door knob stem and finished with a green velvet ribbon.
(You can watch our full tutorial for this pumpkin on our YouTube channel!)

To complete the centerpiece, we mixed in wood-look pumpkins from Hobby Lobby and a wood and chinoiserie bead garland I scored at Ross for only $6.99.
Each place setting features a 12-inch white doily from Walmart in place of a charger, topped with thrifted gold-rimmed dinner plates (my mom found 16 for just $1 each!), blue and white striped napkins, and thrifted green and white salad plates.
We tied the flatware with green velvet ribbon for a soft, elegant touch that feels designer without the price tag.

To give your own table that “high-end” feel, try simple swaps like cloth napkins, gold flatware, or taper candles for that extra touch.
You can also spray-paint thrifted candleholders or vases in coordinating tones to make everything look cohesive.
It’s proof that a few thoughtful details can transform an ordinary table into something truly elegant—without spending a fortune.
Pumpkins and Seashells Fall Tablescape
This pumpkins and seashells fall tablescape is such a fun and creative way to blend coastal charm with autumn warmth—a look that feels light, breezy, and perfectly unexpected for Thanksgiving.
We started by layering our blue and white striped table runner with a bit of burlap ribbon to add natural texture.
For the centerpiece, I filled a driftwood bowl I found at the Vintage Market with mini white pumpkins and a few small starfish—simple yet so charming.

To complete the look, I scattered large seashells along the runner and tucked in more white mini pumpkins for a fall beachy vibe.
At each place setting, I used round straw placemats for texture, topped with my blue and white plates and a striped napkin tucked into a DIY leather napkin ring.
This easy project cost just a few dollars—made from a thrifted $3 leather belt, cut into small sections, punched on each end, and tied together with jute.

It’s the perfect example of how a simple DIY can make your table feel custom and high-end without spending much.
More ideas to try:
- paint pumpkins in soft blue or neutral tones
- layer natural materials like linen, burlap, jute and wood for depth and interest.
- create a centerpiece from wild grasses
Whether you live near the coast or just love that relaxed seaside aesthetic, this table is an easy way to bring a touch of coastal calm to your fall decor.

Cozy Navy and Orange Thanksgiving Table Decor
This cozy navy and orange Thanksgiving table decor is all about warmth, comfort, and that inviting fall feeling that makes everyone want to linger a little longer.
We started by using a navy and white throw blanket as a table runner—placed on the diagonal for a relaxed, layered look.
The soft texture instantly added that cozy, homey feel perfect for autumn.
For the centerpiece, we used a thrifted iron candle stand and tucked in preserved autumn leaves and grasses gathered from our garden.

Instead of candles, we placed DIY faux-stone pumpkins (see the full tutorial on our YouTube channel!) for a creative, budget-friendly twist that adds texture and depth.
Each place setting begins with a rustic straw placemat, topped with a navy and white dinner plate, and finished with a striped napkin my grandma made for me—a sweet personal touch that adds warmth and meaning.
A mini pumpkin on each plate ties the whole look together.

The mix of deep navy blues and warm oranges creates such a beautiful contrast, bringing energy and coziness to the table.
For even more ideas, try swapping in orange napkins, copper flatware, or navy candles to enhance the cozy glow.
This look is relaxed, festive, and full of heart—perfect for a family Thanksgiving dinner that feels both stylish and welcoming.
