Last year our Easter tablescape was inspired by Kate Spade.
Certainly, we all want to make Easter memorable for our loved ones and with a little creativity and resourcefulness you too can set a stunning table without overspending.
You’ll find quick and easy DIY ideas, along with thrift store finds, repurposing ideas and clearance shopping.
So let’s dive in!
Centerpiece Ideas on a Budget
Shop Clearance
A homemade floral arrangement adds a touch of elegance and charm to any Easter table setting.
By gathering a variety of fresh blooms from your garden, grocery store, or local flower market, you can create a personalized centerpiece that reflects your unique style.
Recenly Steph and I have discovered the clearance flowers at our local grocery store.
And for less than $5 you can create a beautiful arrangement.
I know what you’re thinking…aren’t they just going to wilt and look bad?
To our surprise with a little care we were able to make them last a full week.
Spring is the perfect time for tulips, be sure to check our tips for making tulips last.
Speaking of clearance shopping, check out the spring and Easter decor at the end of the season.
Last year I was able to pick up this moss table runner at 90% off.

DIY Decor
As I was setting my Easter table I felt like my mossy table runner needed some lightening up.
So I took some white wrapping paper, cut a scallop edge and placed it under the mossy runner.
Just what my tablescape needed.
Another quick DIY for my Easter table is my tulip pots.
I’ve had these pots for several years, but they were too dark for an Easter table.
To remedy that I thinned down some white paint with water and dabbed it on the clay pots to give them an aged and lime wash look.
And if you’re feeling really crafty try making our faux chocolate bunny napkin rings.

Thrifty Easter Table Ideas
Thrifting items for your Easter tablescape is not only a budget-friendly approach, but also such a fun treasure hunt.
Explore thrift stores, flea markets, or even your own attic to uncover unique and eclectic pieces that add character to your table setting.
As you know Steph and I love thrifting this time of year!
Recently we’ve scored some amazing finds, like this cloche.
I simply placed a couple of vintage teacups, nest and Robin’s eggs under the glass and immediately it felt special.
Look for vintage dishes, mismatched glassware, or charming linens that can be mixed and matched to create an eclectic and personalized look.
A few years back I found a set of 15 gold rimmed plates that were in amazing condition.
And at $1 a piece, they were such a deal.
Then a couple of weeks ago I spotted this set of glass footed bowls.
I loved the etching details on them, they were in perfect condition and at only $.75, such a steal!
I filled them with Cadbury eggs, but they’d also be cute with Easter grass and some peeps.
Keep an eye out for decorative items like ceramic bunnies, candle holders, or even baskets that can be repurposed as pretty Easter decor.
Embrace the thrill of the hunt and let your creativity soar as you transform secondhand finds into stylish accents for your Easter celebration.
And in case you missed it, a couple of weeks ago we created a YouTube video with our recent thrift store flips.
