Go Vertical

Creating vertical storage is one of the best ways to maximize space and keep everything organized.

We installed the Ryobi LINK system in my parents’ garage, and it has completely transformed how we store tools.

Everything is neatly hung and easily within reach, making projects so much more efficient.

My favorite part?

The tool storage shelf!

It not only keeps tools accessible, but also provides the perfect spot for batteries and chargers, so they’re always ready to go when we need them.

Another great way to maximize vertical space is by hanging baskets on hooks.

A narrow one fits perfectly under my mom’s kitchen sink, keeping cleaning supplies neat and easy to grab.

She also swears by her trash bag and grocery bag organizer, which eliminates the mess of loose bags.

One of our favorites is the Rev-A-Shelf trash can and recycling bin pull-out, which keeps garbage and recycling neatly tucked away.

Overhead Storage

Overhead garage storage is a must for keeping seasonal items organized and out of the way.

The Fleximounts lifting garage rack is a total game-changer—it raises and lowers with a simple cranking system, or you can attach a drill to speed up the process.

In our garage, we use it to store my hubby’s ice fishing gear.

While in my parents’ garage, it keeps their snowblower and winter equipment tucked away during the summer and swaps them out for the lawnmower and summer gear in the winter.
